Hi, I’m Bryce Lightbown. I’m the FAA Part 107 certified drone pilot behind Strand Aerials, based right here in Myrtle Beach.

Why I started Strand Aerials
I earned my FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate in 2025 and started Strand Aerials to give people on the Grand Strand an easy way to see their property from above.
Homeowners can check their roof without anyone climbing a ladder. Real estate agents and business owners get aerial photos and video that show the whole picture. Builders and landscapers get a clear record of their work from start to finish.

How I work

Licensed to fly for hire
I hold an FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate, which the FAA requires for business flights.
Weather and airspace checked
Before every flight I check the weather and the airspace, and get FAA approval when an area needs it.
